The Sky Connection was founded in 2004 to bring hands-on science to individuals and organizations in a
unique and fun way. More recently, we have expanded our offering to include a wider range of topics
involving culture, mathematics, and related disciplines. Our founder and chief astro-guide, Mike Marks, has delivered on-site programs, shows, and workshops to a variety of public and private venues with
audiences ranging from 3 to 80 years of age. We cover New England and occasionally beyond doing
groups of 20 to 750 using our traveling EduTarium.
In 2004, Mike also joined the Learning Technologies, Inc. STARLAB Portable Planetarium team, becoming
an authorized sales representative for systems, accessories, training, and support. He currently covers
the New England region for their classic and digital products.
